- We will cover a range of topics, including selecting routes and venues, understanding grading systems and guidebooks, using different types of climbing equipment, mastering ropework, placing traditional protection, setting up belays, and solving problems. You will learn different climbing techniques and movement skills, tactics for leading and abseiling, and how to make informed decisions and action plans.
- Previous indoor or outdoor climbing experience is essential for this course. We will provide individualised coaching and support, thanks to the best client to instructor ratio. With a perfect mix of theory, climbing, challenge, and fun on some of the finest rocks in the country, you will be well on your way to becoming a confident and capable climber.
