Our navigation courses cover a wide range of topics,including interpreting maps, understanding map scales and grid references, using a compass, reading maps with and without a compass, route planning, following bearings, pacing and timing, interpreting contours, reading the landscape, strategies for poor weather and visibility, relocating if lost, night navigation, winter navigation, and navigating in blizzards. We also offer guidance on using digital navigation devices and planning a walk.
