  • Ben Nevis (1,345m/4,413ft), the highest peak in Scotland and the United Kingdom, is located in the Lochaber area of Scotland close to the town of Fort William and can be climbed throughout the year. However, special winter skills and equipment are needed in winter and spring. The climb takes around five hours.
  • Scafell Pike (978m/3,209ft), England’s highest peak, is a rocky mountain in Borrowdale, Cumbria. Despite being the lowest of the three peaks, it may be the most challenging.
  • Snowdon/Yr Wyddfa (1,085m/3,560ft), the highest peak in Wales, is located in Snowdonia National Park/Parc Cenedlaethol Eryri, an area renowned for its great mountain walks and climbs, and is a challenging mountain that can be attempted from different angles, most popularly up the Miners or Pyg Track.
  • There are various ways to complete the National Three Peaks Challenge. You can spread your ascents over 3 days, complete sunrise or sunset walks to each summit, or traditionally complete the challenge in 24 hours, which includes 11 hours of driving between the peaks. We can guide you in any season.
